About Us
Our team is small but ambitious, and we’re looking for someone excited to learn, ship features quickly, and grow with us. We are two developers with formal educations in computer science and engineering, experience with working as full-stack web3 developers in the crypto space, as well as corporate experience across multiple industries including as quantitative research in investment banking and cyber security at a big four professional services firm.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer who’s eager to learn and grow with our team. You’ll be working across our modern stack—from building user-friendly UIs to ensuring backend systems are efficient and scalable. Getting exposure to both established products and developing projects from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features for our web application using Next.js (React, TailwindCSS).
- Implement and optimize backend APIs using FastAPI (Python).
- Work with PlanetScale (MySQL) for data modeling, queries, and schema changes.
- Integrate authentication flows using varying auth providers, and JWT-based API sessions.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining payment flows (ex: Stripe Connect and PayPal Checkout).
- Manage product media using Google Cloud Storage (or similar services).
- Collaborate with the team on code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues across the stack and contribute to technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React (Next.js preferred).
- Experience working with Python (FastAPI a plus).
- Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL preferred).
- Understanding of authentication methods and API security (JWT experience is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferably English speaking
Nice to Have
- Experience with Stripe Connect or PayPal Checkout integrations.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Run, Cloud Storage) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with deployment tools like Vercel.
- Interest in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with web3 infrastructure and / or JavaScript blockchain libraries
