Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Cylindo | Part of Chaos is looking for Business Intelligence Analyst that enables our organization to make clear data-driven decisions by creating and maintaining data models and dashboards while assisting in the definition of business requirements, KPIs, and advanced analytics recommendations.

Main Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, implement, and maintain dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies
– Understand and implement data modeling using best practices and star schema design
– Analyze complex data from multiple sources (cloud and on-prem)
– Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
– Distil complex business concepts and data into readily understood information and visualizations for key stakeholders to drive their business performance
– Stay up to date on emerging technologies and make recommendations where applicable
– Extract additional value of analytics by serving as an advocate of data and insight to empower and drive adoption of self-service analytics building system-wide capability

Requirements:

– At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
– Experience with complex reporting solutions as acquired during the related experience.
– Experience in solving challenges for Marketing, Sales, Support, and Engineering organizations using data and analytics
– Ability to translate business needs into usable visualization of data interpretation
– Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
– Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset.
– Willingness to learn and develop new skills
– Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or information systems

– Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
– Previous experience in a software product company or telecom
– Previous experience with Snowflake, DBT, Azure, BigQuery
