Senior Android Developer with a leadership role (m/f/d)
Teleboy is the most innovative internet and tv provider in Switzerland. We are a young team based in Zurich, Berlin and Skopje and are looking for you to join us and bring our Android apps to the next level.
Besides free live-tv, replay, downloads and a recording feature, the Teleboy app offers a tv guide for the upcoming 2 weeks and recommendations from our editorial staff. By offering apps for a variety of platforms, Teleboy is available for mobile devices and at home on tv.

Your job
● Within an interdisciplinary scrum team, you will develop innovative solutions for our Teleboy app on Android
● Here you will add your architectural knowledge to bring our mobile and tv apps to the next level
● You will integrate internal and external APIs, implement native UI following the MVVM pattern and enhance the mobile streaming technology consisting of the video player, download components
● You know how to use your skills in object-oriented programming, software design and architecture, user interface design and unit tests in order to enhance the app and to share with the team
● You are aware of agile development methodology like Scrum, user stories, code reviews, retrospectives etc.
● You enjoy working closely with your teammates in Skopje as well as with your teammates in Berlin and Zurich
Your profile
● Profound knowledge of developing mobile applications on Android for phones and tablets (Java, Kotlin). Android TV is nice to have.
● Profound knowledge in object-oriented programming/design, software architecture, TDD and Clean Code
● Experience in developing complex software systems by using the latest architectural standards and paradigms (design patterns, clean code)
● Experience in developing multimedia applications by using audio and video technologies is a plus
● Further experiences in REST web services, RxJava, Dagger (Dependency Injection), Kotlin, Coroutines, Flows are welcome
● Ideally, experience with agile software development
● Exceptionally team-minded and the ability to communicate
● You love to share your knowledge and to educate your teammates
