QA Engineer for a Global Logistics Company

What we’re looking for
We have five (5) open positions for experienced QA Engineers. As a QA Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for quality engineering practices. You will develop test plans, help write automated tests, and integrate these tests into the deployment pipeline. You will identify risks, document test coverage and work towards a fully tested platform. You will be part of an agile development team that is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ShipBob’s platform, which is responsible for logic and messaging that helps run e-commerce fulfillment for thousands of businesses. You will work with analysts, developers, and systems engineers to help create our next-generation platform.

Skills
– ~5 years of manual software testing experience.

– Experience in testing both frontend features and backend features

– Working knowledge of SQL

– Extreme attention to detail

– Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

– Experience in SDLC methodologies (Agile preferred)

– Strong organizational skills

– Test case creation & execution

– Experience with Selenium preferred

– Experience working with Azure and Azure DevOps/VSTS preferred

– BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities
– Review and analyze system specifications

– Execute test cases manual or automated

– Report bugs and errors to development teams

– Help troubleshoot issues

– Conduct post-release/implementation testing

– Design and develop testing strategy across the technology stack including, web, mobile, and desktop applications.

– Help product owners to determine testing strategy implemented with new features
