Main purpose of the Role:
· Responsible for the evolution, management and daily operation of the Salesforce.com platform as a Salesforce Developer, you will perform
· hands-on software implementations, while managing and developing new ideas on the Salesforce platform. You will also serve as a lead technical reviewer and contributor in requirements, design and code reviews. You will help us with our Salesforce Integrations and future projects.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
· Acquiring, collating and assessing requests for new functionality within the Virtual1 Salesforce.com environment.
· Collaboration with Business Analysts to understand requirements and discuss and agree solutions to those requirements
· Producing, testing and launching new Salesforce functionality
· Supporting a 130+ Salesforce user environment; working with employees to troubleshoot problems in Salesforce
· Management and creation of page layouts and record types, creating new fields and custom objects
· Creating and managing workflows and validation rules, reporting and building complex dashboards
· Work with the Head of each department to launch & train on all new functionality and to support post-launch
Requirements
Essential Criteria
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of SFDC including objects, fields, workflows and Validation rules
· Programming languages – APEX, Javascript
· Practical experience of the Force.com API, APEX, Lightning Components and other tools to extend the product to meet user’s needs.
· Experience of Agile / Scrum methodology
· Good analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
· Ability to work accurately, deliver high standards and work to tight deadlines
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Enthusiasm, patience and enquiring nature to ensure you can work through issues with people and get to the root of problems
· Experience working in a fast-moving environment
