Junior QA & Support Engineer

The Junior Quality and Support Engineer will develop use-cases and test scenarios, perform functional testing on web and mobile applications. The Junior QA Engineer will participate in all project phases including planning, preparation, stabilization and first line of support of all the solutions. The engineer will directly cooperate with business analysts, software development engineers and end users.

Responsibilities

• Promoting quality within the organization
• Development of detailed test plans, user scenarios and validation procedures based on project requirements and specifications
• Writing validation procedures and test cases
• Functional testing of new releases and bug tracking
• Ability to make a difference between bug and new feature
•  Interaction with software development engineers to troubleshoot problems discovered during the testing process
• Development of general and detailed testing documentation, End-User documentation, Bug Reports and Release notes
• Performing training process to the end user
• Creating UAT documentation and perfroming UAT process with the client
• Providing software application support
• Managing, classifying and responding to technical support tickets
• Direct communication with the client to find out the nature of the issued problem
• Maintaining good client relations

Requirements

• University Degree in the field of IT or similar
• Knowledge of Balck Box methodologies and Testing techniques
• Knowledge of the software development process
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time
• Passion for quality, performance, reliability and team work
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Additional skills

• Working with Team Foundation Server (or similar tool)
• Working with databases and data manipulation
• Working with Unified Modeling Language
