QA Lead

BUSINESS INFORMATION

Sopro, a leading UK marketing agency, is seeking a full-time QA Lead to join our growing team, based in the Skopje office. With approx. 30 new hires in the last 6 months, Sopro has maintained its position as one of the fastest growing digital marketing agencies in Europe.

Being the first QA professional joining our team, you will have the unique opportunity to establish the QA processes and define the testing strategies that would define the testing that needs to be carried out for our projects.

You will be entering at a senior level with the chance to shape the team, process and future, with plenty of opportunity for progression.

As a QA Lead you will be also assessing software quality through mainly automated, but also manual testing. Within your role you’ll be responsible for conducting tests before the product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

All work will be in English language, so we are looking for candidates with exceptional written English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and apply testing processes that would define the testing that needs to be carried out
• Define the test strategies for new and existing products
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, project managers, operations team) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
