About the position
We are looking for a new colleague with a solid QA background to join our highly qualified QA team and help us create even better software. A smart and energetic person with an analytical mind that understands the software development process and pays attention to details.
This position does not require strong experience writing test automation, so this is a great opportunity for everyone who is looking for a chance to grow in their career as a QA Engineer and develop new advanced skills in automated testing.
Responsibilities
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, manage and deliver high-level test strategies, methodologies and take a hands-on approach to see that they are implemented timely and efficiently to make sure we meet the business standards of our clients.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities during SDLC.
- Ensure that automated tests are integrated and executed reliably in the CI/CD environments.
- Participate and review requirements, specifications during sprint planning, and provide any extra information or details in which will ensure test coverage.
- Together with the QA team define and prepare the strategy to improve the quality of our products
- Work closely with the business and engineering team to provide ideas of improvement
Skills and Requirements
- Computer Science Bachelor degree
- 1+ years of QA experience
- Have a little experience with test automation or desire to learn
- Deeply understand how all elements of the software components work together
- Hands-on experience with automation using any of the standard frameworks (Selenium, Protractor…..) will be a plus
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, JAVA, C# or any related programming languages (one at least)
- Experience in creating test plans base on end-user scenarios
- Experience creating effective test plans and BDD test cases
