Technical Lead / Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are looking for a Technical Lead / Chief Technology Officer (CTO), working from our offices in Skopje.

At Sols, we’re on a mission to build industry disrupting solutions that mix Fashion and Tech. You will provide technical leadership in our 2 startups, iCR8 www.icr8.com in UK, and SolX, www.solx.it in Belgium

As our Technical Lead, you will work on the exciting challenges that come with producing large-scale web apps, VR apps, and 3D objects manipulation projects for worldwide audience.

What will you do

– Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy
– Collaborate with engineers across the department to identify and build on improvements to our processes and systems, whilst being involved in technical decision-making
– Take full control of our existing platform, in addition to building and expanding it with new features according the needs of end users and business development.
– Use businesses’ feedback to implement necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
– Communicate with the cross functional team of front-end engineers, and product designers, management and customers

What we expect from you

– Extensive knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID Principles
– Strong development experience using Javascript/Typescript, experience in Python is a plus
– Ability to conduct business analyses and build strategy
– Problem-solving attitude and organizational abilities
– To have experience and desire for a leadership role
– Character, intelligence, dedication and common sense

Plus points

– Experience with WebGL, Unity, threeJS, or other 3D web technology
– Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), Containerization, configuration management and infrastructure automation.
