Managed Services – Open Source Engineer

We are looking for IT enthusiasts to join our team as Open Source Engineer.

Main responsibilities:

• Setup and configuration of infrastructure supporting web applications developed in Open Source technologies.
• Support of production development teams for configurations and deployments.
• Manage, maintain and support production infrastructure and systems for external clients. (VM, Kubernetes, App Services).
• Production infrastructure incident support including postmortems.
• Implement and monitor the Enterprise Linux Servers disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
• Evolution of DevOps processes and systems (Jenkins, AzureDevOps).
• Support and coach other members of the team.
• Collaborate with geo-located internal teams and external clients.

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, manage several complex projects at one time, and utilize time effectively for staff and self.
• Ability to Multi-Task and be resourceful

• Ability to communicate to all level of the business
• Proficiency in English

Skills:

• Experience with web servers and reverse-proxy configuration (Apache, Nginx, HA Proxy)
• Skills in Linux operating systems (Debian and RPM-based)
• Good knowledge of networking, routing, VPNs (IPSec, OpenVPN, PPTP protocols)
• Working experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience in Azure, AWS is nice to have
• Virtualization experience (VMWare)
• Basic knowledge of database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of network monitoring and tools
• Skill in software installation and maintenance
• Experience with backup client/server software
• Required to have experience with cluster software
• Infrastructure as a code experience (Terraform)
• Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Elastic Stack experience is a benefit
• Competent with mainstream office automation, project management, and communications tools.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins
