Scrum Master

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Scrum Master, you will promote Agile values and principles. Thus, you are outstandingly skilled in facilitation and communication. You know the agile frameworks and methods such as Scrum, Kanban and you perfectly understand the life cycle of software development.

EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

– As a Scrum Master, you will act as a facilitator for the agile development team.
– Ensure that the Scrum methodology is understood by the scrum team.
– Coach the team in self-organization, domain knowledge, cross-functional skillset and effective communication on every team and organizational level, both internally and externally.
– Besides working with the Scrum team, you should be able to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive decision making and support the organizational project or product teams.
– Facilitate and support Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.
– Work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years experience with a product or project development in an Agile team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
– Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP and etc.
– Familiarity with software development life cycle models.
– Able to create and organize well-written and easy to understand documentation.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Abilities to solve problems and conflicts.
– Outstanding organizational skills.
