Day to Day challenges:
– Responsible for planning, installation, optimization and maintenance of Linux/Debian operating systems & environments;
– Play a key role in improving the company engineering tools, system, procedures and maintaining production systems Design and implement server environments for developers and testers;
– Be implementing automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines);
– Deployment process support;
– Experience with CD/CI in Cloud as well as with On-prem infrastructure;
– Driving automation improvements;
– Troubleshoot various systems and detect root cause of problems and incidents;
– Help tune performance and ensure high availability of systems and infrastructure;
Your Skills:
– Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments;
– Ability to build and monitor services on production servers;
– Experience with system virtualisation tools: VMWare/VirtualBox/Docker;
– Knowledge of at least one scripting language that could be used for writing automatization scripts for (Python & Shell prefered);
– Knowledge of popular database engines (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres) and SQL;
– An understanding of security fundamentals;
– Being able to properly communicate in English (spoken and written);
