Responsibilities

• Manage web content management systems (CMS)
• Optimization and editing of images and videos
• Determine the type, quality and quantity of content needed for the website
• Conduct content reviews to identify gaps and redundancies in the site content
• Produce maps and visualizations of the site to help staff understand the structure and function of the website

Requirements

• University degree in IT or related field such as marketing, communications or writing
• 2+ years of experience in the field
• Experience with content management systems (CMS)
• Be comfortable working with HTML and CSS
• Solid knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
• Thorough understanding of working in development, staging and production environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to build relationships with clients and partners
• Flexible and able to multi-task, can work within a fast moving environment
• Creative skills to find interesting ways to present information and to generate new ideas
• Having an understanding of what website elements are user-friendly, and why
• Professionally written content and this skill must include strong proofreading and editing skills
• An excellent grasp of language grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Ability to write for a target audience
• Attention to detail, for example, when proofreading
• Detecting and reporting technical problems to IT support staff
