BRIQ Bookings is a Dutch startup in the leisure sector, redefining the online bookings experience step-by-step. Currently, we’re looking for a full-stack web developer, with experience in creating PHP-based web applications built mainly in Laravel.

Project
The software we are working on consists of two parts, the core-engine which serves multiple restful API-endpoints, and several API-consuming web applications. You’ll be working on the latter.

The stack consists of Laravel, MySQL, Node.js, Vue.js and sass. Every day you’ll be working on creating new features, reporting on change requests and fixing bugs.
Main focus for you will be working on the administration software for business owners, which configures products, the sales funnel and makes complex stuff like schedules and business rules simple to use.
There is a fully operational development team in the Netherlands at the moment, with whom you’ll be working closely using Slack, Gitlab, Jira and other tools. Lot’s of chatting.
We’re heavily invested in agile methodologies and remote working, so expect dailies, scrum poker and demo days.

Experience & Skills 
Enjoy being a generalist working on front-end JavaScript magic, integrating restfull API’s and working on complex UX experiences, all the while keeping performance and future potential of the software in mind

– Some DevOps experience, you should know how to configure DNS, to diagnose a daemon problem or integrate a new pipeline
– Experience with OOP, MVC, Dusk/Unit testing, GIT, etc.
– Previous SaaS or software product experience
– Writing and speaking English shouldn’t be a problem

Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) of Informatics and computer engineering
