Release Engineer & Mobile Apps QA

We’re seeking a Mobile App QA & Release Engineer to work across cutting-edge mobile technologies. You’ll be responsible for manual testing across mobile games, applications and products; developing test cases to validate new functionality on a continuous basis; and preparing builds to upload on the app stores.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate closely with our marketing team; take ownership of store marketing materials; build and maintain app store presence
• Upload apps to all stores and send reports to management
• Prepare builds for QA
• Apply QA practices; test features and functionalities
• Design, create, maintain and execute manual tests of games built on different platforms (Unity3d, Cocos2dX, Cocos2d, etc.)
• Ensure quality issues and defects are properly identified, documented, tracked and resolved in the defect tracking system
• Interact with developers, product managers and project managers
• Give the final YES for product quality

Requirements:

• Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile platforms – a MUST
• Excellent analytic, linguistic and interpersonal communication skills – a MUST
• Overall understanding of Quality Assurance and a strong desire to work in this field
• Relevant technical degree (example: Computer Science)
• Familiarity with iOS human interface guidelines and other industry standards
• Familiarity with regression tests, sanity checks, and feature-specific tests
• Experience with QA methodologies, QA documentation (STPSTD) and QA tools (JiraTestrail, etc.)
• Familiarity with MAC OS X and iOS applications
• Passion for technology and testing; ability to achieve deadlines and work independently
• Ability to solve problems and think laterally independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Outstanding written and spoken English
• QA experience – a big advantage
• Experience testing mobile apps/games – a plus
• Experience with Xcode and/or Android Studio – a plus
