Recently, Vipper B.V. has opened an IT and Business Development office in Macedonia – Hristo Smirnenski str. 42/4, Skopje 1000.

For the need of the IT department, we are recruiting Senior IT developers. They will work from our office in Skopje but also they will be working from our office in Amsterdam a certain amount of time per month.

We are looking for the following profile:

In order to get a complex traveling/routing system, using complex algorithms, back online and improve it during the process we need a serious senior full-stack software developer, who is also an analyst, pragmatic problem solver and is able to work in complex structures. We need someone who really thinks before coding but is not afraid to start when the whole picture is not totally clear. Because of the variety of repositories and the complexity, it is key to be a real team player. We will work in an Agile (scrum) DevOps way, using a CI/CD pipeline with static code analysis, not to point out mistakes, but to prevent bugs and maintenance issues.

Required hard technical skills
– 3+ years of experience as a developer in a demanding complex corporate environment
– 5+ years of experience in developing solutions in an OOP programming language as C++ / C# / Java
– 5+ years of experience developing JavaScript (framework) applications
– Any experience in developing micro-services served in node.js
– 1+ year of experience in the concept of TDD and writing unit tests
– 3+ years coding according to the OOP / SOLID way
– 2+ years of experience with TSQL databases (PostGreSQL / MS SQL / MySQL)
– A great deal of experience in developing web applications
– A great deal of experience in developing backend services
Nice to have hard technical skills
– Experience in administrating Linux infrastructure (We need at least one)
– Experience in developing Cloud solutions (We need at least one)
– Experience in CI/CD environments

Really nice to have
– Experience coding with the “generalized assignment problem solver”
– Experience in creating geographical solutions
