Technical Presales Engineer

On behalf of Airbus, Dekra is looking for a Technical Presales Engineer at the default office location in Skopje.

Job description:

To determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution;
Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time-frames;
Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally;
Deliver training  on  solutions  and  provide  product  support  to  channel  partners  and  internal stakeholders;
Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations;
Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products;
Builds productive  relationships  internally  and  externally,  fostering  teamwork  by  keeping colleagues updated on activities;
Perform technical development for bespoke solutions as part of a design and development frame work;
Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer and to the company;
Provide accurate and timely management information, to include – activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s;
Adhere to the Company’s Quality and Business Processes;
To assume responsibility for running a bid team, where relevant;
Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery;
Ability to demonstrate company’s products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge;
Responds well in potentially stressful working environment;
Takes responsibility for working schedule and offer solution output deficiencies;
Have the fortitude to ask for assistance when required;
Flexibility in attitude to working hours according to working tasks.

Required qualifications:

At least five years of professional relevant experience;
University Degree in Computer Science;
Experience working in international, NATO or Governmental environment;
Background in communications industry;
Background in Telecom industry;
Experience in Bid related business;
Very strong written and spoken technical English language skills.

Professional knowledge and skills:

Strong knowledge of Network Engineering and CISCO;
Two or more years of proven technical experience within one or more of the following areas:
Server / Workstation / Laptop / Storage technology
Routing / Switching / Data Center / VoIP
Security – Firewalls and Security Services
Security Risk Management / Vulnerability Assessment / Content Management
Knowledge in the theory of one or more of the following: IP Networking, Voice Networking
LAN Technology (Ethernet, WiFi), WAN Access Technology (xDSL, Ethernet, SDH)
Knowledge of SMTP and email security issues
Knowledge of HTTP and web security issues
Knowledge of Network Design and security architecture concepts
Knowledge of Enterprise security products
A good understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP networking, including Subnet masks
Routing, Dynamic Routing Protocols, Common IP Protocols – TCP, UDP
A Good understanding of encryption techniques and management including, S/MIME, PGP, PKI, SSL, TLS;
Competent with Microsoft and VMware associated architecture;
Familiar with electronic messaging concepts (e.g. MS Exchange, Sendmail);
Technical documentation, system descriptions and diagrams;
Experience with classified data handling and knowing how to handle classified data.
