Transmission engineer

On behalf of Airbus, Dekra is looking for a Transmission Engineer at the default office location in Skopje.

Job description:

Integral part of the engineering team to support design and implementation tasks and do coverage calculations;
Support pre-sales activities and case studies;
Prepare deployable network assets in accordance with system design documentation;
Contribute and participate in the definition of test procedures to validate the solution.
Required qualifications:

At least 5 years experience in Telecommunications (LAN, WAN, Radio and SATCOM);
At least 5 years experience with wireless communication including but not limited to Line of Sight radio and SATCOM equipment, preferably with specific experience with deployable terminals;
Fluent in both spoken and written English;
Knowledge and experience of both military and commercial Line of Sight radio and SATCOM services;
Knowledge and experience of Harris Line of Sight products including but not limited to TETRA technology.
Professional knowledge and skills:

A high level of knowledge of network, system and application level troubleshooting techniques;
Ability to receive tasks and work independently;
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
Strong communication  skills  and  the  ability  to  be  concise  in  both  written  and  verbal communications;
Experience of preparing technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.

Desirable Professional Certificates

Industry recognized certifications such as GVF certifications
Industry recognized certifications in LOS radio technology
