Senior Java Developer

Scrum based project that is around building a software product in media domain for the USA national agencies.

As part of an Agile team your role will be to:

• Design, create, test and document new and amended software components
• Take part in reviews of own work and lead reviews of colleagues’ work
• Deal with ongoing changes and enhancements
• Problem investigation and management
• Communicate with clients and represent Endava

Match your profile

• Commercial experience of the full software lifecycle
• Advanced knowledge in Java, Spring
• Experience with multithreaded applications
• Good knowledge in software patterns and practices
• Experience with source control systems – Git
• Experience with database development with SQL: stored procedures, query optimization, indexing techniques, scalability
• Knowledge in Reporting Services
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
• Proactive, adaptable and open for learning new technologies/systems

The following skills would be a plus:

• Good knowledge of AngularJS
• Experience with Jenkins deploy management tool
• Agile Scrum knowledge Experience with issue tracking systems: JIRA
• Able to competently and confidently conduct verbal and written business communications.
• Good presentation skills
