Job Description

• Knowledge of efficient modeling techniques i.e. hard surface, organic, high poly & low poly modeling, polygon distribution knowledge for environment artist.
• Proficient in 3D software like Z-brush, Maya/ 3D Max, Mud box.
• Good knowledge of UV unwrapping and superior eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating hand painted and realistic texture maps for characters and environments according to concepts and art directions. Proficient in software like Photoshop, Substance painter, Mari.
•  Understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette with regard to character and environment modeling.
•  Deliver files as per the brief and specifications / best practices with regard to file naming, folder structure etc.
•  Strong foundation in the traditional arts.
• Experience in several aspects of production that includes concept work, modeling, texturing, and shading.
• Must be self-motivated and should be able to carry the vision for a level / game till completion and commit to deadlines. Has to be able to understand and follow art directions.
• The candidate should have good communications skills, problem-solving abilities, must be comfortable to work in a team environment and understand how to get and give constructive criticism.
• A passionate gamer who understands both sides of gaming, the players and the creators.
