Position: iOS Native Developer
About the Company
Pickatale story started back in 2013. Knowing that children today grow up with digital devices, it’s natural for parents and teachers to use apps for educational purposes. There are so many mobile apps intended for children, but we realized there’s one important problem. These apps are addictive and without any real educational value to improve children’s reading and language learning skills.
We wanted to help children develop a love of reading. In the course of the years, Pickatale now features 1000+ interactive children’s books in our app on English, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Chinese. We are paying special attention to each and every book released and we take pride in the knowing that both, the parents and children will enjoy the experience.
We are currently building our next version of product, its including a cloud backend system and native mobile apps. will require an experienced App Developer who is experienced on Native iOS development / REST API.
Experienced with iOS 11 latest SDK
Mastery of iOS native development,
Mastery of Objective C language
Mastery of Swift language
Mastery of Fabric, Pods
REST API/JSON experience
Unit test via Mocha, Chai, Jest
Nice to have:
Knowledge of monitoring systems
Knowledge of Unit Testing and performance profiling tools
Experience with different browsers compatibility test
Provide track record of working with cloud solutions (AWS or Azure)
In-depth knowledge of security practices and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems)
Responsibilities:
Monitor, manage and maintain the stability, scalability and performance of Pickatale’s system infrastructure
Diagnose problems detected by our systems and work quickly to resolve them
Improve the scalability and reliance of our systems
Creation of procedures and documentation for the company’s infrastructure operations
