MSSQL Developer

Full time, permanent, remote job

Purpose of the Role

Do database design, develop stored procedures and improve the existing databases for one of the most longevous and acknowledged sport organization across USA.

Duties and Responsibilities

Xg Database design for additional features in existing databases

Xg Develop stored procedures for new work-flows

Xg Improve existing database design while keeping existing functionality working

Xg Communicate with client for requirements gathering and clarification

Xg Work with other developers at integrating developed database functionality in an Node.js based HTTP REST API

Required Experience & Knowledge

Xg Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL

Xg Ability to quickly understand a large database and the entities modeled in it

Xg Familiarity with new features of Microsoft SQL Server (2014, 2016) and ability to implement them

Xg Any programming experience outside of databases is a plus

Xg Node.js/Express experience is a plus

Required Education & Qualifications

Xg Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must

Xg Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related degree

Xg Any relevant certificated would be considered a plus
