Expanding out teams in Serbia (or remote) we are looking for:
We have a strong attitude towards code quality and try to leave the code base better than we found it after every change, so testing and Doing Things Right are very important to us.
The job involves working with the product owners and the client, devops, and QA teams to get a product from the spec stage all the way to production, so you will need good communication skills and the ability to distil technical requirements from business requirements.
Good knowledge of modern Java development and associated frameworks knowledge of design patterns and best practices in Java development Testing with JUnit (or other testing frameworks)
● Experience in using Java in high performance, scalable server environments
● Web services with JSON and XML
● Agile development with JIRA
● Willingness to learn and investigate new technologies off your own back and help improve the technology platform.
● Basic web development. We have a dedicated client development team but you will
● be expected to get involved when integrating with them
● Willingness to take ownership of a project and see it through to production
● Ideally some gaming related industry knowledge and experience
Required technologies:
● Core Java
● Hibernate
● Spring
● SQL, preferably with MySQL
● JUnit (or similar)
Good to have:
● Web service frameworks JAXRS, JAXWS, Jersey, Metro
● Jetty, Tomcat
● Maven
● HTML, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery
● Smartfox
● Devops tools – puppet, chef, AWS/EC2
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
