Needed qualifications for this position:

• 3+ years of Software Application (and Web Application in particular) automation
• 2+ years experience with Selenium-WebDriver which is Selenium 2.0. This is NOT Selenium IDE, which is Selenium 1.0
• Solid understanding of software application automation; That is:
  • Able to put an automation plan for a given software application
  • Able to write automation scripts that is least impacted by any possible UI changes4
• + Java programming experience (The candidate must be, at the minimum, an intermediate Java developer)
• Good understanding of what clean code means in Software Development
• Good understanding of QA testing aspects in general (Has done manual testing in the past and has written test cases and executed them)
• Willing to learn new frameworks
• Manual testing experience in web services
• SQL knowledge to be able to write and run DB (MySQL, Postgres, RedShift) queries
• Experience testing web user interfaces and web service APIs (REST / SOAP)
• Experience with design and execution of test plans
• Ability to work both independently and within a team structure
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of automation tools like Postman, DHC, Curl
• Experience working on Linux based environments with good knowledge of scripting
