Senior Front End Developer

The Company

Clikdaq provides development, data and marketing services to UK clients Tau Marketing Services (TMS) and Digital Adventures (DA). TMS currently uses a third party provider to deliver the entire software stack for its websites. It is moving the front end development of those websites to Clikdaq. We are recruiting a Front End Developer to lead and enable that transition.

The role

The initial engagement will be for a fixed-term on a single project basis to deliver the front end build of a single new website built to the same specification as TMS’s existing websites. The successful completion of this project will lead to a full time position to deliver the transition of all existing websites and the build of all new ones

Responsibilities:

·        Develop and maintain website front ends

·        Develop new web features using PHP/JS

·        Work with external APIs and services

·        Invent new web features for the benefit of all business partners

·        Be a focal point for front end web requests and requirements within the business

Skills and Qualifications:

·        Advanced knowledge and Experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery and Ajax – A must

·        Create html files from scratch without using a utility program/tool – A must

·        Experienced with cross browsers development – A must

·        Experienced in creating and maintaining manual and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or equivalent

·        Experienced in developing Web services /interfaces – An advantage

·        Knowledge in Flash coding (AS3) – An advantage

·        Knowledge in SQL – An advantage

·        Highly technical, Self-learner, independent, organized

·        Natural leader with the ability to build and manage a team

·        Team player, good interpersonal relations, highly motivated, passionate for quality
