Description
Job responsibilities:
- Participate in business specification reviews
- Contribute to logical and physical design of the product
- Solve technical problems
- Review and enforce the quality of code written within your team
- Document all work using required standards, methods and tools including prototyping tools where appropriate
- Produce components of detailed designs, such as: physical data flows, class diagrams, file layouts, common routines and utilities, program specifications or prototypes, and backup, recovery and restart procedures
- Work under general supervision
Qualifications
Mandatory skills:
- 4-6 years of professional experience as a software developer
- Java SE, Java EE
- Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow
- Web Services (SOAP, WSDL)
- Exposure to AJAX/JS/CSS
- Unit Testing/Mocking, at least theoretical knowledge
- ORM
- Oracle (SQL Proficiency will suffice)
- Autonomous, problem solver, motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced written and spoken English
Desirable skills:
- Spring Security, Spring WS
- Good understanding of business processes
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Customer facing
