Description
Job responsibilities:
- Understand the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery and help define the test strategy in alignment with business goals, functional and non-functional requirements
- Design, document and execute test scenarios, test cases and implement test automation suites/scripts according to the test strategy
- Provide technical leadership in E2E lifecycle to the less senior testersAnalyse the testing processes, tools and processes determining areas to improve
- Play a part in building the Delivery Units’ testing capability & contribute towards the Endava organisations best practices for testing
- Help creating a Skopje testing community that encourages and facilitates the knowledge and experience sharing between testers
Qualifications
Mandatory skills:
- Good knowledge of the software testing lifecycle
- Very good technical background
- Active experience in delivering different types of testing strategies
- Good background in various types of testing (i.e. Automated, Performance, Security Testing) and a solid understanding of release planning, iteration planning, estimations, prioritization
- Good understanding of test tools, techniques & life cycles
- Autonomous, a fast learner, a problem solver, motivated and dependable, with initiative, able to take on responsibility, a team player
- Able to work in an ad-hoc/dynamic and fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
- Able to understand business processes well
- Able to lead the testing activity and the testing team
- Organized and have strong analytical skills
- Advanced in written and spoken English communication
Desirable skills:
- Experience in working with AGILE methodologies
- Programming experience with scripting languages.
