DESCRIPTION
Lynx.Press is looking for a talented WordPress developer who has web development expertise using WordPress to work with our global client base. Our developers play an important role in working with our clients together with rest of Lynx.Press project team.
You will have good knowledge of WordPress, and have used your skills in a commercial environment building WordPress applications. You will be a self-starter with strong problem solving and investigative skills. You will be able to rise to the challenge of developing web applications in a completely new product area, and have a strong, results-oriented focus.
Your responsibilities will include technical design and delivery of the customer-facing side of our rapidly-evolving web technology products. Acting as an integral part of the Lynx.Press team, your duties will include:
Proactively seeking out and formulating innovative engineering solutions to ongoing business problems
Hands-on development of WP plugin and services
Collaboration with team members, customers and partners to come out with globally competitive digital experiences
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience with PHP
Knowledge of WordPress theming, plugin and core basics such as common functions and hooks
Familiar with WordPress REST API
SASS/SCSS
Git
Excellent written and spoken English.
Added bonus if you are familiar with
Some JavaScript framework such as React, Angular or Backbone
Web accelerators such as Varnish Cache
