About the role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team, focused on maintaining the technology systems that power our live poker platform. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding technical support to our team.
Responsibilities
– Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware;
– Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners;
– Set up accounts and workstations;
– Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements (Server infrastructure, IP cameras, etc.);
– Troubleshoot issues and outages;
– Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests;
– Provide technical support across the company;
– Repair and replace equipment as necessary;
– Keep up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
Requirements
– Degree in Information technology, Computer Science or any related field;
– Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), patch management, IP telephony and IP network cameras;
– Experience with troubleshooting of technical problems (cables, plugs);
– Proficiency in the English language.
