About the role
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented IT Monitoring Specialist to join our team. The IT Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our IT systems and networks through vigilant monitoring and analysis. The role will involve closely observing and analyzing system activities, communicating incidents or irregularities, and assisting with investigations when necessary.
Responsibilities
– Monitor IT systems, networks, and applications to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
– Review system logs and alerts to identify potential security threats or anomalies.
– Monitor the gameplay and players’ performance to optimize efficiency and reliability.
Incident Reporting and Communication:
– Report any unusual or suspicious activities to relevant team members or superiors.
– Collaborate with IT teams to respond to and resolve security incidents promptly.
– Maintain clear and accurate records of monitoring activities and incidents.
Compliance and Regulations:
– Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to IT monitoring.
– Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and security standards.
– Assist in audits and assessments to verify compliance.
– Utilize monitoring tools and technologies effectively, including cameras, surveillance systems, and monitoring software.
– Stay updated on advancements in IT monitoring tools and techniques.
– Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to address potential areas of risk.
– Assist in investigations related to security incidents, fraud, or violations of IT policies.
– Prepare detailed reports on monitoring activities and findings.
– Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions achieved.
– Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required by the organization.
– Engage in game testing or other relevant tasks as needed.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
– Strong understanding of IT monitoring tools and methodologies.
