About the role
We are looking for an IT Project Manager who will be responsible for managing IT projects within our organisation and providing crucial support to the CTO. You will ensure the successful execution of projects while assisting the CTO with various administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional projects, providing direction, guidance, and motivation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive corrective actions.
- Organising meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Evaluate and recommend project management tools and methodologies.
- Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
- Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations for the CTO.
- Assist in research, data analysis, and gathering information for strategic decisions.
- Coordinate and support meetings, conferences, and events attended by the CTO.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project management certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as JIRA,Trello, and/or Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to multitask.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Positive and adaptable attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
