Android Software Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking an intermediate-level Android Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our next-generation Android applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring new features to life, ensuring our apps remain robust, responsive, and enjoyable for users. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain features for our Android application using Kotlin and/or Java.
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build engaging, user-friendly mobile experiences.
Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Stay updated with Android development best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

2-4 years of professional experience in Android development.
Proficiency in Kotlin (Java knowledge is a plus).
Familiarity with Android Jetpack, Compose, and common Android frameworks.
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with reactive programming (e.g., RxJava, Coroutines).
Exposure to CI/CD tools and processes.
Familiarity with Google’s Material Design Guidelines.
