M&DH holds insurance programs for over 4,000 clients, translating to over 10,000 policies. Our projected premium income for the forthcoming 12 months is expected to exceed £35 million, a true testament to our professionalism and the cost effectiveness of our premiums. Central to M&DH’s success and future growth is SAS, our bespoke in-house CRM system, which has been in development for over 10 years. SAS is integral to the smooth and efficient running of our business. Several years ago, we transitioned to a paperless business, and SAS has played a crucial role in allowing our departments to interact seamlessly and efficiently. We embrace a culture of experimentation, constantly striving for improvement and learning. SAS is managed and developed by a team based in the UK and Skopje, Macedonia. You’ll be part of this team, using your skills to improve SAS.
Our modern, airconditioned office in Skopje is located in Karposh and is easily accessible. We are proud to have had a presence in Macedonia for almost 5 years, which has been central to the growth of our CRM system. We are currently working on an exciting plan to modernize SAS, migrating from a locally hosted desktop application to a distributed web application based on a PaaS platform.
What We Need from You
As a member of our Software Development team, we seek individuals passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You will apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, continuously liaising with other team members and stakeholders across the business.
Our preferred candidate will be confident working both individually and as part of a team. They will have excellent communication skills (in both written and spoken English), be a fast learner, embrace challenges, and have an eye for detail. Responsibilities include writing clean, reliable, secure, and well documented code across M&DH’s SAS system (C#, SQL, VB.NET). You will plan and test your code’s functionality, carry out code reviews, and conduct quality testing of software produced by other team members. In addition to adding new functionality to SAS, day to day duties include supporting users with bugs and other tasks.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly on the Azure platform, would be advantageous, along with previous experience working with agile and continuous deployment. Familiarity with workflow tools like Jira, Git, and Confluence is also beneficial.
