Position
We’re fully flexible. As of November 2021, if it suits your role at Deltatre, you can work full time from home/remotely, from the office, or a combination within the same country as your contracted office of employment.
Video Experiences unit is a leading OTT products and services provider delivering best-of-breed products and components as well as comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
We serve both end-to-end clients and those who want to internalise part of their platform through products and components.
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Deltatre, the individual will be exposed to a variety of application which can be Entertainment or Sport centric, following the needs of the 2 biggest Business Unit in the Company.
The role is due to proactively bring a solid experience with backend technologies – mainly focused on Microsoft Stack (.NET Framework, .NET Core, WebAPI) – to boost the teams’ ability to deliver. The person will be designing and building new features, collaborate with others on resolving issues and taking care of continuous integration and deployment, improving all aspects related to delivery.
The Senior Backend Engineer will be working on delivering back-end solutions built with wide range of modern technologies and designed to withstand millions of concurrent users.
Requirements
For the person to be successful, we need:
Solid knowledge and background in C# development
Ability to implement/use .NET Framework (v4.7+) and .Net Core (v2.1+)
Visual Studio & Windows Libraries / Applications / Services
Familiarity with GIT
Strong TCP/IP knowledge and Data Bus, experience with RabbitMQ
Familiarity with building high performance/scalable architectures (including microservices)
Previous experience with creatingREST APIs / Open API (Swagger specs) using Web.Api / OData
Ability to derive creative software-based solutions to demand-driven requirements
Willing to collaborate with internal team to produce architecture & clean code
Ability to develop documentation that clearly explains the how and why of the system
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience with systems & services monitoring tools
Ability to express and understand complex technical concepts
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process would be preferred
“Nice to have” knowledge:
Linux / Mobile development is a plus
Cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP
Web Development: Node.JS, Angular, React
Docker containers
Kubernetes or similar container orchestrator
Windows GUI (WinForms, WPF)
